It is difficult not to be caught up in the excitement regarding tablet computing. These devices are dependent upon a wireless network and wireless providers have responded by increased bandwidth, speed and improved connectivity. The increased adoption of wireless connectivity has evolved more competitive data plans and cheaper devices but before you buy, consider the topography of your community and adjust for dead zones with WiFi hot spots. Determine what will be your acceptable “dead zone” level and then test drive some tablets.
