Oakland California Fire Department has been working with One Step Fire Inspection since 2007. Using One Step, inspectors with specialized knowledge in the CA fire code complete building permits and insure compliance for occupancies throughout Oakland. Commercial inspections are completed by the operations division with the data collected being entered into One Step using the shared computers located in the stations. Crews use One Step to manage Vegetation inspections insuring 98% compliance throughout the high fire season.
